So, Ive arrived.
Currently I am waiting at our hotel for tonight to be picked up and brought to the car rental place.
Departing was sad but now I only look forward to the coming adventures. It is odd visiting such a far-away place and already having memories of many of the streets and buildings. The short drive from the airport to the city was exciting with dramatic views of the highlands and plateau; we already spotted our first herd of Hartebeest near the road and a lone Oryx.
That's it for now, after we get the car we're just going to go shopping and get to bed early in order to be at Waterberg tomorrow.
Last thing: I spotted a Michael Scott Str. here in Windhoek. Ill get photo evidence later.
This Blog
Welcome to my blog. From August 2011 to December 2011 I travelled through Namibia and felt at home enough to say I was temporarily living there. My main goal was to work on a research project on the Pangolin, but I also got plenty of safari time and took part in some other volunteer opportunities. On this blog I did my best to keep a detailed account of my experiences.
