This Blog

Welcome to my blog. From August 2011 to December 2011 I travelled through Namibia and felt at home enough to say I was temporarily living there. My main goal was to work on a research project on the Pangolin, but I also got plenty of safari time and took part in some other volunteer opportunities. On this blog I did my best to keep a detailed account of my experiences.

  1. GREAT!!!! Thanks for the photo's, what cool pics... Amazing animals... so beautiful. You're blessed that you can watch and experience them from so up close in the wild! The leopardess with the cubs is stunning. Well, I guess I run out of words here. Can't wait to see all 50,000 photo's you will probably have taken by the time you return ;-)

  2. Zita warns everyone when you've updated your blog, she's a faithful follower, Emiel! Thanks for letting us know Ziet. Photos are just stunning Emiel!!! luvvvly! Seems to me you're never going to be able to live in a big European town after 4 months in the bush, don't know if I could. It's all so gorgeous and exciting! Writing is also great, lots of question to ask you, plan in a couple of 'days with just mum' when you get back. In the meantime we have our wedding of the year coming up, that's exciting enough for me. We'll miss you and dad there. xx
